SYMPHONY MUSICS POLICY

Welcome to Symphony Music Academy! Please take a moment to review the following guidelines to ensure a smooth, enjoyable learning experience for everyone Free 45-Minute Introductory Meeting: New students are offered a complimentary 45-minute meeting before committing to lessons. This informal session helps us: • Get to know each other • Discuss musical goals and background • Answer any questions about lessons and expectations Note: This is a conversation, not a trial lesson. No instrument required. Lesson Enrollment & Payment: • Monthly Enrollment: Lessons are booked on a monthly basis (e.g., 6 lessons for each session). • Prepayment Required: Full payment is due before the first lesson of each session. • Payment Methods: E-transfer or other agreed methods. • Refunds: No refunds once the month begins unless the teacher cancels. In addition 50% cancelation fee will occur. • Eligibility: Students should be age 5+ and have access to a piano or keyboard at home. Note: It is required that students within the age of 5 to 12 should be accompanied with their parents or custodians. Cancellations & Rescheduling: • 24-Hour Notice: Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance may be eligible for a make-up lesson (maximum of one per month). • Late Cancellations & No-Shows: Lessons missed with less than 24 hours’ notice or no-shows are not refunded or rescheduled. • Teacher Cancellations: In the rare case the teacher cancels, a make-up lesson or full refund will be provided. Academical Expectations: • Punctuality: Lessons start and end on time. Late arrival reduces lesson time. • Practice Commitment: Consistent home practice is expected (20–30 minutes per day recommended). • Respect: A respectful attitude toward the teacher, the learning space, and the process is essential. Agreement: By enrolling in lessons, students and families agree to follow the above studio policies. These guidelines are in place to support a productive, enjoyable, and respectful learning environment for all.
